hey everyone its Frankie your business vlogger here today I’m going to go over my top three takeaways from Gary B’s slide deck on how to create sixty four pieces of content each day so what I love about Gary Vaynerchuk is that he shares a lot of tips on what you can do to improve your brand online based on what has worked for him so that is why I spent the time to go over to 270 slides in this document that he shared I think about a week ago so let’s go over my top three takeaways so the first takeaway is that you shouldn’t create content for the algorithm you should create the content for your followers and the idea is simple right we have read a lot online about the types of content that does best but the truth is that when you just try to create content for the algorithm so that your the algorithm treats you in a positive way you’re limiting yourself to the type of content that you do share and the opportunities that you may not find because you’re not testing a lot of different content so for example if you have read that photos with vase do very well and you’re always just sharing photos with a face and you don’t create videos or you don’t create cartoons you’re limiting yourself because you don’t know if videos can do two times better than the photos that you’re sharing so I think that was neat do not create content for the algorithm create content for followers for your followers for your audience and always be testing out different types of content through different means so some videos some just text posts and see what works best for you because you never know of that type of content may take you to the next level so the second takeaway is that you should tailor the content that you have for the specific platform it’s being shared on so he brings it up in a certain way like this he creates long-form content right so he will get a video filmed of him presenting at a keynote speech and he will have his team break up that content and then share that content on Facebook LinkedIn Instagram etc right but what he says is extremely important that you should do is tailor the content to the specific platform so for example if you’re sharing something on LinkedIn in his case he does tend to curse in several of his videos he actually actually censors himself in the LinkedIn videos because he knows that the LinkedIn audience isn’t a fan of that type of speech as it is in an Instagram so that’s one way that you’re able to tailor content for your particular platform the other way is that you mentioned the type of platform that you’re sharing stuff on so for example if you’re sharing a video on Instagram you can say hey Instagram if you’re sharing one on Facebook you can say hey Facebook that way you pretty much bring people in together that it’s not just some type of generic content that you filmed in one place and now you’re spreading it throughout but it’s content that you are kind of tailoring for that specific audience and that could go a longer way than just generic content that you can just post in the same way everywhere else now the third takeaway which is also very interesting and I’ve tried to to get involved in it is that you should start popping tik-tok to your business strategy right now Tech Talk is kind of a it’s very different than Instagram or LinkedIn because right now it is a very younger demographic and that mean let me seem as if it’s not necessarily for your type of business but one of the things that he has said in his ever several other videos is that look at the beginning the best part about tik-tok and of the best part about any platform is that early on you have that chance of growing organically because as these programs start to include advertising to their platform then your your potential reach diminishes so tick-tock is one of those platforms where right now it’s still very early and if you start creating content for it you can get a lot of organic reach and one of the things that caught my attention from his slide deck is that he would show the types of engagement that he would get on tik-tok on Instagram and LinkedIn and he was actually getting a lot more engagement on tik-tok and possibly because he has a strategy on tick-tock very few don’t and that is why he’s pumping out content consistently and there’s very few people that are able to compete with him versus on Instagram you do have a bunch of different influencers that are sharing content each and every day but on tik-tok he’s pretty much the only one or one of the few that are doing it because everyone else is sitting on the sidelines and I’ll be honest I’ve tried to use tick-tock I’m still trying to figure it out but the the slide that did give me a few ideas of types of content that I can create on tick-tock so I’m going to be adopting that so those are my top three takeaways again it’s do not create content for the algorithm create content for your audience and always be willing to experiment the types of content that you create number to tailor content is to the specific platform you’re sharing it on that way you have a much better chance of engaging with your audience in a favorable way and three take advantage of tik-tok right now it’s very organic and you have a good chance of being able to grow there because very few companies are taking advantage right now so those were the top three takeaways that I got out of the slide deck now I do want to add a few other things that weren’t necessarily mentioned in the slide deck but that I think are extremely important and it’s that um many times people they think too hard or too long about the content that they want to create because they want it to be perfect right and that should it be the case right and one of the points that Gary does bring up in the slide deck is that you shouldn’t just focus on production quality you should focus on really bringing out content so that people can engage with it and you can get that reach because look if you’re taking forever to create one piece of content I could just be creating content like once every day and I’m going to be able to grow quicker or grow more because people are able to find me online so without that being said if you are someone who wants to create a business strategy or content strategy for your business just don’t think any or just go for it to start creating content and if you’re a person who wants to grow their personal brand same thing just start creating content and then based on the content that you are sharing you’ll be able to identify what is new
